Outline

Paragraph 1
1) respect is a hard thing to have for others for some people
2) have trouble always treating others well
3) your emotions take over sometimes, but some are good at controlling them
4) respect is found in TOTC and my life

Paragraph 2
TS: Charles Dickens has respect in some parts of TOTC, but not others
SD: Miss Pross has respect for few people and her brother's one
CM: she believes " [he's] only one worthy for Lucie"
CM: surprising since he stole everything from her
SD: the revolutionaries have respect for Doctor Manette
CM: they consider him a "good fellow republican"
CM: Doctor actually is only nice to save Darnay
SD: Madame Defarge "cares nothing for [the] Doctor" though
CM: she wants his head off like Darnay
CM: her husband doesn't agree though so she can't yet
CS: Respect has a pretty big role in TOTC

Paragraph 3
TS: Respect also is seen in my life
SD: I respect my parents
CM: they have done everything for me, so they should be treated right
CM: I haven't "lived the first 20 years without my father" like Lucie in TOTC has, but i still have respect for them
SD: try to respect my brothers
CM: their older and give me advice
CM: sometimes tough to respect them cause can be aggravating
SD: I respect my friends
CM: I like keeping them as friends and respect is a way to do that
CM: also lets them know I'm there for them
CS: I need to have respect for people in my life to make life easier on me

Paragraph 4
1) It isn't easier to always have respect
2) Dickens shows that in TOTC with Madame Defarge and the Doctor
3) You should try your best to have respect for others as much as you can
4) Respect is a key to friendship and love
